The ICM7218CIPI+ is an 8 digital LED display driver in 28 pin DIP package. This display driver interfaces microprocessor to an 8-digit, 7 segment, numeric LED display. It includes two types of 7 segment decoders, multiplex scan circuitry, segment and digital drivers and an 8 x 8 static memory. It accepts data in a parallel format and drive common anode display. It can display data in either hexadecimal or code B format. It is used in bar graph display and panel meters.
